Terms of Use

By using the Health Punk app or this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, don't use the service. If you are using Health Punk on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for them.

Health Punk is a wellness and education tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing it tells you is medical advice.

The guidance the app produces, including tongue readings, gut scores, tips and recipes, is generated from patterns in East Asian medicine and from AI models. It is a starting point for paying attention to your body, not a clinical finding.

Always consult a qualified medical professional before changing your diet, exercise, supplements or medication, and especially if you have an existing condition. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service. Do not delay seeking care because of something the app said.

You need an account to use the app, you must give accurate information to create one, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us at support@health-punk.com if you think someone else has got into it.

You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.

Health Punk has a free tier that stays free. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store and billed by Apple to your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency before you buy. We never quote a price outside the App Store, because Apple's listing is the only accurate one.

The seven-day full-access trial takes no credit card. When it ends you go back to the free tier automatically unless you choose to subscribe. There is nothing to cancel and nothing is charged.

A paid subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings, not through us. We cannot cancel it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy; we can ask on your behalf but Apple decides.

Don't:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to harm anyone;
• upload someone else's photo or health information without their permission;
• try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or scrape the service, or get around its limits and paywalls;
• resell, rent out or share paid access outside the household seats we provide;
• present the app's output as a medical diagnosis to anyone.

The photos and logs you put into Health Punk remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your content, process it to generate your results, and show it back to you. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train third-party AI models. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

The app, this website, the Health Punk name, the logo, Mike, and the written and visual material we publish belong to us and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may use them to use the service, and not for anything else without our written permission.

We're a small team building quickly. The service may be unavailable at times, and features may change, be added, or be withdrawn. We will not remove a feature you are actively paying for without telling you first and giving you a way out.

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

You can stop using Health Punk and delete your account from inside the app at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
