Privacy Policy

Health Punk R(Evolution) (“Health Punk”, “we”) operates the Health Punk iPhone app and this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@health-punk.com.

This site collects exactly one thing, and only when you type it in: your email address, submitted through a signup form or at the end of the Gut Personality Quiz.

If you complete the quiz we also store your answers and the resulting gut archetype, so that what we send you later is relevant rather than generic. You can take the quiz without giving us an email address; in that case the answers are stored without anything identifying you.

Website submissions are stored in our team's Notion workspace. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party cookies on this site.

The app collects more, because it has to in order to work:

• Account details: your email address and authentication credentials, handled by our identity provider, Clerk. We never see or store your password.
• Photos you take: tongue photos and meal or fridge photos. These are uploaded, analysed, and stored against your account so your history means something over time.
• What you log: meals, drinks, water, and your daily check-in ratings for sleep, energy, digestion and calm.
• Wearable data, only if you connect a device: sleep, heart-rate variability, readiness, steps and resting heart rate from Oura, Garmin, Fitbit, or Apple Watch via Apple Health. Connecting is entirely optional and you can disconnect at any time, which stops the sync.
• Subscription status: handled by RevenueCat and Apple. We never receive your card number; Apple processes all payments.
• Crash reports: if the app crashes, it sends us a technical report so we can fix it. These contain device and code information only. They deliberately carry no account content.

Your tongue photos, meal logs, check-ins and wearable readings are health information. We treat them as the most sensitive category of data we hold. They are used to generate your guidance inside the app and for nothing else.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train third-party AI models. Photos and logs are sent to our AI providers solely to produce your result, under agreements that prohibit their retention or reuse of that content.

Health Punk is a wellness coach, not a medical device. Nothing it produces is a diagnosis, and none of your data is submitted to any insurer or employer.

We use a small number of vendors, each doing one job: Clerk (accounts and sign-in), Vercel (hosting, and image storage), Neon (database), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), Resend (transactional email), Notion (website form submissions), and our AI providers (generating your results). Each receives only what it needs for that job.

Account and health data are kept while your account exists. Delete your account and we delete it, including your photos, other than anything we are legally required to retain, such as payment records Apple holds independently of us.

Email addresses collected on this website are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send or by writing to us.

You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. No email, no waiting on us. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@health-punk.com.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws including the CCPA, including the right to object to processing and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We honour these requests regardless of where you live.

Health Punk is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for anything material we will tell you in the app or by email rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
